How it began
When the world felt uncertain, coffee gave us a place to connect.
Aveek Coffee was born in Philadelphia in 2020. During the uncertainty of the pandemic, James and Keeva returned to something simple that had always brought them comfort: sitting down together over coffee.
A cup could slow the day down, open a conversation, and make room for encouragement. What started as a daily ritual gradually became the idea for a company built around love, resilience, and connection.
After more than three decades of marriage, they chose to begin a new chapter together—and invite others to share in it, one cup at a time.

James named the company Aveek as a tribute to his wife. The name makes the brand personal before the first bag is opened: every cup begins with their story.
Comfort through a difficult season
Coffee became a small, steady reminder of resilience.
After their daughter was born, Keeva faced postpartum depression. During that difficult period, quiet moments over coffee offered familiarity and comfort. With James beside her, those shared pauses became part of how they stayed connected.
The heart of Aveek is not perfection. It is showing up for one another,
especially when life feels heavy.
